Cedar Rapids Community Schools

Welcome Wilson's New Interim Associate Principal

Headshot of Caleb Claus

We are pleased to share an exciting leadership update for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. Caleb Claus has been selected as the new Interim Associate Principal at Wilson Middle School. Mr. Claus will fill the vacancy left by Patrick Stanek, who recently transitioned to an Associate Principal position at McKinley Middle School.

Mr. Claus brings 11 years of educational experience to Wilson, including six years of dedicated service right here in the Cedar Rapids Community School District. During his time at CRCSD, he has served as a Math Teacher, Freshman Academy Facilitator, and Freshman Academy Instructional Lead at Jefferson High School. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Math Education, a Master of Arts in Math Education, and a Master of Education in Educational Administration.

"I am honored and excited to serve Wilson Middle School as Interim Associate Principal," shared Mr. Claus. "While I will miss the staff and students at Jefferson, I am looking forward to building relationships with Wilson’s students, staff, and families and helping create a school environment where every student feels known, supported, and ready for what comes next."

Mr. Claus’ deep understanding of our community and his proven commitment to student success make him an excellent fit for the Wilson family as we prepare for a wonderful school year ahead.

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Claus to Wilson Middle School!
