Announcing New Principal at Grant Elementary School

We are excited to announce that Jessica Auliff has been selected as the next principal of Grant Elementary School, pending Board approval. Jessica will fill the vacancy left by Stephanie Van Hemert, who recently joined the Executive Cabinet as our Chief of Schools for Area 1.

Jessica is transitioning to Grant from her most recent role as the principal of Wright Elementary School. To ensure our students and families have strong consistency and stability during the upcoming district reconfiguration, Jessica will lead the Grant community this year and seamlessly transition with our Grant students and staff to the new Wilson Elementary School in the fall of 2027.

Jessica brings 14 years of educational experience to this leadership role, including 4 years within CRCSD. In addition to her recent leadership at Wright Elementary, her CRCSD tenure includes serving as the principal of Jefferson High School and as the Culture and Climate Transformation Director. Prior to joining CRCSD, she served in multiple instructional and administrative roles, including principal, associate principal, instructional coach, ELL teacher, and elementary teacher.

Superintendent Dr. Tawana Lannin shared her enthusiasm for Jessica’s new assignment:

The students, staff, and families welcomed me with open arms, and I am deeply grateful for the meaningful relationships we built during my time there.”

With Jessica’s transition to Grant, the district will be posting an Interim Principal position for Wright Elementary School immediately.
