AP & College Credit

At CRCSD, we believe every student should have a head start on their future. Our comprehensive advanced academics program offers multiple pathways—including Advanced Placement (AP) courses and Dual Enrollment partnerships—allowing students to earn transferable college credits right here on our high school campuses. By participating, your student can challenge themselves academically while saving significant time and tuition money on their higher education journey.

What is it? College-level courses taught by high school teachers with certifications. Actual college courses taken through Kirkwood Community College.
How do you get it? Score a 3, 4, or 5 on the national AP Exam in May. Pass the class with a C or better to earn a college transcript.
Where is it accepted? Widely accepted nationwide and internationally. Highly accepted at in-state public universities; varies out-of-state.

Advanced Placement (AP) Courses

Fees: $80 to take the final test. Students who qualify for free or reduced school fees will have the cost waived.
